The project involves the following key tasks: 1. **DOT Storage Complex (8251 Chicago Avenue)**: - Install a new NFPA 13 wet sprinkler system throughout an existing/remodeled storage building, which includes a combination of pre-engineered metal building and poured concrete elevated slab. The building will primarily be used for DOT equipment storage and a small print shop office area. The contractor must coordinate with the prime contractor for scheduling and ensure interoperability with an existing fire alarm system. 2. **Douglas County Sheriff's Office (8470 Earl D. Lee Blvd)**: - Deactivate an existing wet sprinkler system and install a new Clean Agent Fire Suppression system in server/computer room S150 and telecom room S151. - Deactivate the wet sprinkler system in main electrical room S123 and install a hydra mist suppression system in both S123 and emergency electrical room S124. - The contractor is responsible for turnkey design, permitting, installation, and any necessary modifications to meet compliance requirements.
