Sidewalk Project Revised Scope Owasso Police Department

Background

The Owasso Police Department is seeking to install concrete sidewalks at the Owasso Police Department Training Center, located just south of 600 South Main Street, Owasso. The goal of this contract is to enhance the safety and accessibility of the training center by providing well-constructed sidewalks.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for installing four (4) concrete sidewalks approximately 6 feet wide, 71 feet long, and 4 inches thick, as per specifications outlined in the Project Drawings engineered by Owasso Public Works. Additionally, the contractor will perform all associated finished grading and sod installation. The project also includes the installation of twenty-six (26) 2 3/8” x 16” post sleeves in two (2) of the sidewalks only, with post sleeves provided by the City. A one-year maintenance warranty covering workmanship and prompt correction of any defects arising under normal use is required from the contractor.

Period of Performance

The project is expected to be completed by June 19, 2026.

Bidder Requirements

The contractor must provide references for similar scopes of work and carry compensation and public liability insurance as required under Oklahoma state laws. All construction employees must remain within the immediate area of the work site and parking lot for safety. Work vehicles are restricted to parking on the asphalt parking lot; only necessary vehicles for project completion may travel off this area.
