Landscaping Services - Lewiston State Office Building

Background

The Idaho Department of Administration (ADM) is issuing this Request For Quote (RFQ) to solicit quotes from qualified and experienced firms to provide a full range of year-round landscaping and snow removal services for the Lewiston State Office Building (LSOB), located at 1118 F Street, Lewiston, ID, 83501. The goal is to ensure consistent, high-quality landscaping services throughout the year, along with snow and ice removal during the winter season.

Work Details

The Contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, supplies, tools, and materials necessary for landscaping services including: - Trimming and edging grass around trees, shrubbery, fences, and paved areas; - Weed control using pre-emergent and post-emergent herbicides; - Pruning of deciduous trees and shrubs; - Monitoring and maintaining sprinkler systems; - Applying insect and disease control measures; - Debris control by removing all generated waste on the same day of service; - Snow/ice removal when accumulation reaches specified thresholds. Snow must be removed from sidewalks and parking lots prior to 8:00 AM on weekdays and during weekends or holidays when accumulation exceeds two inches. The Contractor must also ensure that all pesticide applications comply with federal, state, and local regulations.

Period of Performance

The initial term of the contract will be for one year with the possibility of renewal up to a total anticipated contract term of five years upon mutual agreement.

All services will be performed at the Lewiston State Office Building located at 1118 F Street, Lewiston, ID, 83501.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must have trained personnel in industry-standard landscaping techniques. They must maintain valid certifications for pesticide application throughout the contract term. The Contractor shall not subcontract any part of the contract without written approval from the State. Bidders must also comply with equal employment regulations and confirm they are not suspended or debarred from federal or state procurement programs.
