Dutch Hollow Archaeological Surveys

Background

The State of Utah Division of Purchasing, through the Forestry, Fire & State Lands (FFSL), is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) to establish a contract for conducting archaeological surveys within Wasatch Mountain State Park. The area of focus is between Springer Hollow to the west and Cottonwood Canyon to the east. The goal of this contract is to ensure that archaeological assessments are conducted in compliance with state regulations and standards.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for conducting archaeological surveys within the specified boundaries of Wasatch Mountain State Park. This includes identifying, documenting, and evaluating archaeological resources in accordance with applicable laws and guidelines. The vendor must guarantee pricing for the entirety of the project and must be on the approved vendor list for archaeology for their bid to be considered.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed within Wasatch Mountain State Park, located in Utah, specifically between Springer Hollow and Cottonwood Canyon.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must certify that they have read and agree to all provisions outlined in this solicitation. They are required to be on the approved vendor list for archaeology. Additionally, vendors must comply with Utah Code Annotated (UCA) 63G-6a and Administrative Code R33. Vendors are prohibited from communicating about this solicitation with procurement unit staff or evaluation committee members except through the designated procurement officer.
