Cloud-Based Printing Services

Background

The University of Massachusetts Boston (UMass Boston) Division of Information Technology is seeking qualified bidders to replace its existing print infrastructure and implement flexible 'Print Anywhere' cloud-based printing services. The initiative aims to enhance the university's printing capabilities and provide a more efficient, user-friendly experience for students and staff across its campuses.

Work Details

The contract involves the provision of cloud-based printing services, including but not limited to: 1. Cost per print for various types of printing: a. Monochrome single-sided printing b. Monochrome duplex printing c. Color single-sided printing d. Color duplex printing 2. Equipment lease costs for printers and scanners, specifically: a. Cost of lease per printer b. Cost of lease per scanner The successful bidder will be responsible for ensuring that all services meet the specifications outlined in Attachment G - Scope of Services/Work.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon award and is expected to last until the completion of the project, with specific timelines detailed in the proposal submissions.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at UMass Boston campuses, with potential delivery locations specified in the proposal submissions.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with specific prerequisites including: 1. Submission of a Consent Declaration 2. State Tax Compliance Affidavit 3. Certification of Non-Collusion 4. Proposer Representation Form 5. Supplier Record Authorization Additionally, bidders must provide proof of professional liability insurance and comply with all applicable laws regarding taxes and employment security.
