Gas Easement Remediation

Background

The City of Warner Robins is issuing a solicitation for the construction of Gas Easement Remediation under Bid Number 26-U-4788. The project aims to enhance infrastructure by installing reinforced concrete pipes and improving access drives, which aligns with the city's mission to maintain and improve public works and utilities.

Work Details

The work includes: - Installation of approximately 144 linear feet (L.F.) of 36-inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) for nine culvert crossings. - Installation of nine RCP flared end sections with trash racks. - Placement of 270 square yards (S.Y.) of type 3 riprap. - Access drive improvements, including installation of 4,000 S.Y. of 200-lb woven fabric and 720 tons (TN) of #4 surge stone. - Associated grading and erosion and sedimentation control measures. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, safety equipment, permitting, taxes, profit, overhead, and other costs necessary to complete the project within a timeframe of 90 consecutive calendar days.

Period of Performance

The contract work is to be completed within 90 consecutive calendar days from the start date identified in the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance

The project will be performed in Warner Robins, Georgia, specifically at the project location on Adams Road in Twiggs County.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must possess a current business license/occupational tax certificate issued by the appropriate authority. Each bid must include a Bid Bond or certified cashier’s check amounting to 10% of the base bid. Bidders are required to submit E-Verify documentation with their bid to be deemed responsive.
