Performing Arts Staging Products and Services

Background

The Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) is one of the largest higher education systems in the nation, comprising ten colleges and numerous educational centers. The District aims to provide quality education and job training to over 140,000 students annually. This Request for Proposal (RFP) seeks to engage vendors for performing arts staging products and services across all college locations on an as-needed basis, with no guaranteed spending amount.

Work Details

The contractor will provide a wide range of performing arts staging products and services, including but not limited to:

Staging Equipment

** stage curtains (theater and fire), LED curtains, rigging systems, acoustical shells, access platform systems, black box theaters, orchestra pit fillers, risers, portable staging, stage extenders, uplift stages, platforms, guardrails, supports, beams, stair units and closure panels, hoist systems, lighting systems, sound systems, related storage systems, repair parts and supplies. - **Demolition, Installation, Repairs and Maintenance:** Contractors must maintain necessary licenses and certifications; adhere to federal and state regulations; follow manufacturer recommendations; familiarize themselves with project conditions; field-verify measurements; advise on necessary inspections; conduct safety inspections according to industry standards; keep permanent records of inspections; coordinate inspection activities with the Member's representative.

Period of Performance

The contract is expected to commence on September 1, 2026. It will be awarded for an initial term of one year with the possibility of up to four additional one-year extensions for a total potential contract term of five years.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at various college locations within the Maricopa County Community College District.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be licensed in their respective states if required by law. They must submit a signed proposal including responses to a Respondent Questionnaire detailing their experience and qualifications. Proposals must comply with all RFP requirements including pricing schedules. Any deviations from the RFP terms must be clearly listed.
