Fire Fighting Gear - SCI Frackville

Background

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Corrections, SCI Frackville is seeking to procure Fire Fighting Gear to enhance the safety and operational efficiency of its firefighting personnel. The goal of this contract is to provide high-quality protective gear that meets specific performance standards and security requirements.

Work Details

The contractor will supply the following items: 1. 4 Each Globe 'GXCEL' Black Pioneer Coat, Spec #102723-32G with features including a black outer shell, thermal liner, moisture barrier, and various pockets. 2. 4 Each Globe 'GPS' Black Pioneer Pants, Spec #102723-32G with similar material specifications as the coat and additional features like bellows pockets and adjustable suspenders. 3. 4 Each Bullard LTX Series Helmet with a 4" faceshield in black, featuring integrated lighting options and comfort settings. 4. 4 Each FireArmor SR-X 8180 Structural Firefighting Gloves in XL, designed for heat resistance and durability. 5. 4 Each Majestic PACII P84 Hood in natural color that meets NFPA standards for structural firefighting gear. All items must be comparable to the specified brands, and detailed specifications must be provided if bidding on comparable items.

Period of Performance

The contract term will commence on the Effective Date upon execution and will end on June 30, 2027.

Place of Performance

Delivery is to be made to SCI Frackville located at 1111 Altamont Blvd, Frackville PA 17931 during business hours from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays).

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide detailed specifications of the model being bid along with their submission. All products must comply with the security requirements set by the Department of Corrections.
