Background

The County of Ocean is seeking to enter into a contract with the lowest responsive bidder(s) to supply antifreeze, oils, and lubricants. The goal is to ensure quality lubricants that prevent premature wear and failure of equipment, supporting fleet standardization and consistent maintenance practices.

Work Details

The contractor will provide high-quality lubricants that meet OEM specifications for use in vehicles from manufacturers such as Daimler Chrysler, General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Toyota Motor Corporation, Honda Motor Corporation, and North American Truck Manufacturers. Deliveries will be made F.O.B. to specified locations including Vehicle Services Department and Transportation Services Garage. A minimum order of 100 gallons is guaranteed for bulk deliveries. All products must be performance branded and not blended. The contractor must submit manufacturer product data sheets with details including manufacturer name, product description, intended applications, classifications, and physical properties. They are also responsible for replacing any defective products and repairing any equipment damage caused by such products.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed as needed based on orders placed by the County of Ocean.

Deliveries will be made to various locations in Ocean County, New Jersey including Toms River (Vehicle Services Department), Manahawkin (Vehicle Services Garage), Manchester (Transportation Services Garage), and Lakewood (Garage).
