Summary: Background The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Rocky Mountain Region Office (RMRO) is seeking to perform environmental and remediation work at the Juvenile Detention Center located at 304 Mennonite Church Road, Busby, MT 59016. The facility is currently non-operational due to water line concerns and requires cleaning and remediation due to mold and biohazardous waste, including rodent feces and urine. This procurement is 100% set aside for Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE). Work Details The contractor shall provide all supplies, equipment, and labor necessary for the performance of the work under this Statement of Work (SOW). The tasks include: 1. Site Assessment: Investigate the building and evaluate the severity of mold and biohazardous waste issues. 2. Cleaning: Biohazardous waste/mold cleaning in various areas including kitchen, pantry, other rooms, walk-in freezer, mop room, and freezer entry. This involves washing and vacuuming walls, ceilings, flooring; applying anti-microbial agents; mounting negative air fans/air scrubbers for a 24-hour period; deodorizing using hot thermal fog; ensuring workers are provided with PPE; using HEPA filters and respirators; and employing air scrubbers and hydroxyl generators as necessary. 3. General Demolition: As required based on assessment findings. 4. Hazardous Material Remediation: Ensure all waste is removed before final walkthrough is scheduled. 5. Permits & Fees: Manage any necessary permits related to the work. Period of Performance 15 days after award. Place of Performance 304 Mennonite Church Road, Busby, MT 59016. Contractors must ensure that all staff are monitored by agency employees during operations unless background checks are required.
