Vehicle Maintenance and Collision Repairs, Body Work, and Parts

Background

The Township of Wayne, New Jersey, is seeking to establish open-ended contracts for Vehicle Maintenance & Non-Collision Repair Services, Vehicle Collision Repair Services & Body Work, and Vehicle Parts for various types of Township-owned vehicles. This initiative aims to ensure the efficient maintenance and repair of the Township's vehicle fleet.

Work Details

The contract encompasses the following services: 1. Vehicle Maintenance & Non-Collision Repair Services; 2. Vehicle Collision Repair Services & Body Work; 3. Supply of Vehicle Parts for various types of Township-owned vehicles. The contractor is expected to provide all necessary labor, materials, tools, and equipment required to perform these services effectively.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence no later than 21 days from the date of award and will last for a period of up to two years. There is a possibility of extending for two additional one-year periods if mutually agreed upon by both parties.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed within the geographic boundaries of Wayne Township, New Jersey.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must possess a registered Business Registration Certificate (BRC) with the State of New Jersey prior to contract award. They are also required to comply with New Jersey Law Against Discrimination and submit an Ownership Disclosure Certification detailing any owners holding a 10% or more interest in the business. Additionally, bidders must adhere to affirmative action provisions as outlined in N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq.
