Summary: Background The contract is issued by Fort Huachuca, which develops and tests Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) capabilities. The goal of the contract is to modernize Range 13 from a Modified Record Fire (MRF) range to an Automated Record Fire (ARF) range in compliance with current Training Circular (TC) 25-8 and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Design Guide standards. This modernization aims to enhance training capabilities for Army and Joint Operations. Work Details The contractor is required to procure professional services, materials, and labor necessary for the design and execution of the MRF to ARF modernization on Range 13 at Fort Huachuca, AZ. Key tasks include: 1. Kick-Off and Preconstruction Site Visit: - Determine specific requirements for project site access by the Contractor. - Assess existing environmental and soil conditions; obtain 'as-built' documents; take photographs/surveys as required. - Evaluate distance and accessibility of utilities. 2. The contractor must comply with various applicable documents such as TC 25-8 – Training Ranges, TC 3-20.40 - Training and Qualification-Individual Weapons, TC 25-1 - Training Lands, DA PAM 385-63 - Range Safety, among others.
