Summary: Background The Waccamaw National Wildlife Refuge is issuing this solicitation to identify a qualified contractor for the replacement of the Hasty Point Rice Trunk & Levee Project. The primary goal is to ensure that all necessary tools, labor, and materials are provided to successfully complete the project in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) rev2. This project has a construction magnitude estimated between $100,000 and $250,000. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the removal and replacement of the existing Hasty Point Rice Trunk & Levee Project. All work must adhere to the attached Statement of Work (SOW) rev2. The project will also comply with applicable Davis Bacon wage rates established under General Decision Number: SC20260001, effective January 2, 2026. Site work hours are designated from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm EST. Period of Performance The contract performance period is from July 6, 2026, to November 9, 2026. Place of Performance The construction projects will be performed at the Waccamaw National Wildlife Refuge located at 773 Hasty Point Drive, Georgetown, SC 29440. Bidder Requirements This solicitation is a total small business set aside. Contractors must provide proof of insurance and submit a Payment Bond for awards exceeding $35,000. For awards over $150,000, both Payment and Performance Bonds are mandatory. Contractors must also have the necessary contractor or trade licenses.
