Background

Volusia County Water Resources & Utilities is seeking competitive bids for a vendor to provide a pump, motor, and base plate design as a like-for-like replacement. The goal of this contract is to ensure the continued operation of the county's water resources infrastructure by replacing existing equipment with new, equivalent models.

Work Details

The contractor will provide a split case centrifugal pump, motor, and base plate that match the specifications of the existing equipment. The scope includes: - Design and supply of a pump and motor that meet or exceed current operational standards. - Installation of the new pump and motor at the designated site. - Removal and disposal of the old pump and motor. - Compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations during installation.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within one year from the start date, with no options for renewal.

The work will be performed at 3151 East New York Ave., DeLand, FL 32724.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide proof of insurance including: Workers’ Compensation (Florida Statutory Coverage), Commercial General Liability ($1,000,000 each occurrence; $2,000,000 general aggregate), Auto Liability ($1,000,000 combined single limit), and must name Volusia County as an additional insured. Bidders must also demonstrate financial stability and provide references for similar projects completed in the last three years.
