Tax-Exempt Lease/Purchase Financing

Background

The City of Junction City, Kansas, is seeking proposals for the Tax-Exempt Lease/Purchase Financing of a Command Vehicle. The goal of this contract is to secure financing for essential equipment that supports the operations of the Junction City Fire Department (JCFD). Work Details

The successful bidder will be responsible for providing a JCFD SCBA Fill Station and Cascade System. This includes: - A containment fill station and cascade system capable of simultaneously charging two SCBA cylinders within a protective chamber. - Fill control valve and fill pressure gauges. - Two ASME 6000 cylinders with rack. - Equipment must meet Grade E air quality requirements and NFPA 1989 air quality standards. - The bidder must provide warranty information covering all products and equipment specified in the bid. - Field-level maintenance training for three members of the department must be included, along with an explanation of how this will be accomplished in the proposal. - All components must be NIOSH and NFPA approved at the time of bid opening, with no exceptions allowed.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed from the date of award until the completion of delivery and installation, expected by July 2, 2026.
