Texas A&M University is seeking to establish a Master Agreement for the provision of pavement and road marking, painting services, and supplies to be delivered and/or performed on the Texas A&M campus in College Station, TX. The goal of this contract is to ensure high-quality installation and maintenance of pavement markings that comply with relevant safety standards.
The contractor shall provide experienced workers for installing and removing pavement markings, ensuring compliance with Texas A&M's safety rules. Services include: - Conducting random drug testing - Providing necessary signage and safety devices - Overseeing work with a fluent English-speaking supervisor - Responding to call-backs within one hour - Conducting inspections with Texas A&M representatives - Correcting unsatisfactory work within 24 hours. The contractor will apply reflectorized paint or thermoplastic markings according to specifications including dimensions and locations as directed. Specific materials must conform to MUTCD and TxDOT standards. Equipment used must include self-propelled automatic bead dispensing systems and electronic line skip measuring controls. They are required to comply with the State of Texas Subcontracting Plan promoting opportunities for certified Veteran-Owned Businesses. Vendors must also maintain a drug-free environment and comply with all applicable safety regulations.
