Fresh Bread

Background

This solicitation is issued by Rhode Island College, specifically the Purchasing Department, for the procurement of fresh bread products to support their Dining Services. The goal of this contract is to provide high-quality, fresh baked goods that meet the dietary needs and preferences of students and staff at the college.

Work Details

The contractor will supply a variety of fresh bread products including: - Hamburger rolls - Sliced deli sandwich rolls - Wheat cluster rolls - Grinder rolls - Club bread (white and wheat) - Potato finger rolls - Hot dog rolls - Kaiser rolls - Bulkie rolls - Sub rolls - Rye bread - Oatmeal bread - Texas style white bread - Assorted bagels (including various flavors) - English muffins (wheat and regular) - Various types of tortillas and pita bread. All items must be made fresh (not previously frozen) with proper labeling including ingredient lists and nutrition facts. Deliveries are required to be made inside the building at specified times and must match contract items and prices. A single price must be quoted for each item requested in the bid document.

Period of Performance

The contract will be effective from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027.

Place of Performance

Deliveries will be made to Rhode Island College Dining Services located at 600 Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Providence, RI 02908.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must complete a three-page Bidder Certification Form as part of their proposal submission. They must also provide disclosures regarding any past suspensions or debarments and confirm compliance with all applicable laws. Vendors are required to maintain necessary licenses and insurance throughout the contract period.
