Paver Materials for Main Street Parklet

Background

The City of Pawtucket is seeking a firm to provide paver materials for its planned project at City-owned Main Street Park in downtown Pawtucket. This initiative is funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The selected vendor will be responsible for coordinating delivery with the Planning Department and the General Contractor.

Work Details

The City of Pawtucket requests proposals from qualified suppliers to provide Unilock paver materials. The specific requirements include:

Paver Type A

** Urban Paver (17 ¾” x 35 ½” x 2 3/8”) - Color: Indiana Buff - Finish: Smooth Premier

Square Footage Required

1,850 SF

Paver Type B

** Promenade Paver (3 7/8” x 11 7/8” x 2 ¾”) - Color: French Grey - Finish: Umbriano Mottled

Square Footage Required

12 SF Freight charges shall be prepaid and added to the lump sum cost. Installation services are not solicited under this RFP.

Period of Performance

The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to align with the project timeline as determined by the City of Pawtucket. Specific dates for proposal submission and bid opening are set for June 2026.

Place of Performance

The contract will be performed at City-owned Main Street Park in downtown Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with all Federal, State, and City laws, ordinances, and regulations. A bid surety in the form of a bid bond or certified check payable to the City of Pawtucket in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid price is required. The successful bidder must maintain comprehensive general liability insurance of at least $1,000,000.00 and workers' compensation insurance as required by Rhode Island law.
