Copper Hills Parkway - Parkstrip

Background

The City of West Jordan, Utah, is issuing a contract for the construction of the Copper Hills Parkway - Park Strip project, which is part of their Public Works Department initiatives. The goal of this contract is to enhance the infrastructure along Copper Hills Parkway by constructing a new concrete park strip and replacing damaged sidewalks. This project aims to improve public spaces and ensure safety for pedestrians in the area.

Work Details

The work includes: 1) Concrete paving of the park strip on the southeast side of Copper Hills Parkway from Grizzly Lane to Mascaro Way; 2) Grubbing and removal of excess soil; 3) Preparation and compaction of the subgrade; 4) Placement and proper compaction of road base; 5) Installation of colored, stamped concrete; 6) Removal and replacement of damaged sidewalk sections. The total area for concrete placement is approximately 11,365 square feet.

Period of Performance

The work must commence upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed and is expected to be substantially completed by August 14, 2026.

Place of Performance

The project will be performed along Copper Hills Parkway between Grizzly Lane and Mascaro Way in West Jordan, Utah.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must possess a valid Utah General Contractor License E100 at the time of bid submission. They are required to provide proof of their license within three business days if requested by the City. Additionally, bidders must comply with federal non-discrimination provisions as outlined in Executive Order No. 11246.
