Background

The Crook County School District is seeking to procure new Chromebooks for student use. The goal of this contract is to enhance the educational experience by providing students with reliable and compatible devices. The District aims to create a Purchase Order as a formal bid award on or before June 29, 2026.

Work Details

The contract involves the purchase of 600-650 Chromebook devices from either Acer or CTL, which are required for compatibility with existing equipment and supplies. The specifications for the Chromebooks include:

Screen Size

11.6-12.0 inches - RAM: 8GB or higher - Storage: 64GB eMMC - Fixed front-facing camera - Processor: Intel or MediaTek - No touchscreen capability - Minimum AUE (Auto Update Expiration): 7 years remaining

Included Zero Touch Enrollment

- Standard 1-year warranty Accidental Damage Protection is not required.

Period of Performance

The delivery of all hardware must be completed on or before August 31, 2026.

Place of Performance

The products will be delivered to the Crook County School District located at 471 NE Ochoco Plaza Drive, Prineville, Oregon.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide a complete bid that includes the cost of hardware as well as all costs related to shipping and delivery. They must also certify compliance with applicable Federal Acts and Oregon Statutes regarding equal employment opportunities and must not discriminate against any minority or emerging small business enterprise in obtaining any required subcontract.
