Summary: Background This solicitation is issued by the US Coast Guard Regional Support Team – Southwest (RST-SW) for the installation of artificial turf at the USCG Air Station San Francisco. The goal of this contract is to improve landscaping and aesthetic appeal around the sports court and barbeque area at the air station, utilizing a synthetic turf product that can withstand various weather conditions. Work Details The contractor shall perform the following tasks as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW): 1. Supply and install an artificial turf system using Rincon-80 or an approved equivalent for approximately 4,500 square feet. 2. Site preparation including excavation, grading, and ensuring proper drainage. 3. Installation of base materials including crushed stone/gravel and geotextile fabric. 4. Turf installation involving layout, cutting, seaming, securing edges, and infill application. 5. Final grooming and cleanup of the site to ensure a professional appearance. 6. Warranty requirements include a minimum 8-year material warranty and a 2-year installation workmanship warranty. Period of Performance Work shall commence after review and acceptance of contractor’s submittals, with all work completed within 60 days from the start date.
