The solicitation, when posted, will contain all necessary proposal instructions. Eligibility and Registration Requirements Proposals will only be requested and accepted from vendors that are verified and registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and verified as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) from the Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21.

Scope of Work Overview The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21 will be issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for an electrical construction contractor for the Building 12 Pump Power Relocation project. The site is located at 975 Kirman Avenue, Reno, NV 89502-2597. Vendors must provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to relocate and add additional power legs to the water pumps in the Building 12 basement. Work includes, but is not limited to: Installing emergency power. Relocating normal power onto the Motor Control Center (MCC). Installing a manual transfer switch (MTS). The new emergency/normal power system must be fully compliant with the VA Technical Information Library (TIL), Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Electrical Design Manual, and up-to-date safety codes. Additional work includes completely preparing the site for building operations, identifying all potential pathways and hazards, and furnishing all project supervision in coordination with the VA COR. Solicitation Details and Period of Performance Vendors must demonstrate the ability to meet all requirements.
