This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. This notice is a market survey and is for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this notice. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR QUOTES AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. The VA Network Contracting Office 15 has been tasked to solicit for and award for on call Infectious Disease Physician Services (PSC Code: Q999). No solicitation is currently available at this time. The proposed project is anticipated to be a firm, fixed-price contract. The type of solicitation to be issued will depend upon the responses to this notice. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow up information requested. The purpose of this notice is to gain market knowledge of potential businesses for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business relative to NAICS Code 561320, with a small business size standard not to exceed $34 million in gross annual receipts. After reviewing responses to this sources sought announcement, the Government may issue a synopsis and/or solicitation at a later date. The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsive contractors. The duration of this requirement is anticipated for a base year with four each one-year option periods. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this acquisition is 561320 Temporary Help Services. Please provide a capability statement addressing your organization s ability to perform as a prime contractor the work described in the draft Schedule (below) specific to the provision of infectious disease physician services and respond to the questions posed below. This is not a request for proposal and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. Please include the following information: 1. Your company s name, addresses, point of contact, phone number, and email address. 2. Your company s interest in submitting an offer on the solicitation when it is issued. 3. Your company s capability to meet the requirements. 4. Provide comparable work performed within the past three years to include a brief description of the project, period of performance, and dollar value of the acquisition. 5. How many providers in your practice group or candidate pool are available to provide contracted services in the Wichita, Kansas geographic region? 6. Would providers be able to perform infectious disease physician services on an hourly basis (24/7/365 availability) and available for call back within 15 minutes and ability to be on site within 60 minutes of the Wichita VA Medical Center? 7. How many on call and on-site infectious disease physician services have you successfully placed in the past 24 months? 8. Would you be able to support on call/emergency coverage? 9. Describe your abilities to track and invoice using on call hourly and on-site hourly services. Board Certified/Board Eligible Infectious Disease Physician Services: Wichita VAMC Routine on site clinical hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m., with additional on site coverage during evenings, nights, and holidays as scheduled - 170 hours. On call coverage (telephonic only), including holidays as needed per call schedule: 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year (continuous coverage). On call providers must respond by telephone within 15 minutes and be physically on site within 60 minutes, when requested.
