Summary: Background The contract is issued by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) for the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge, located in Brigham City, Utah. The mission of the FWS is to conserve, protect, and enhance fish, wildlife, and plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people. The goal of this contract is to provide preventive maintenance services for HVAC systems at the refuge to ensure they remain safe, reliable, and operationally efficient in support of refuge staff, visitors, and facility operations. Work Details The contractor will perform preventive maintenance (PM) services for HVAC systems at the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge. This includes routine maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems that support administrative and operational facilities. Specific tasks include: 1. Regular inspections and servicing of HVAC systems to sustain performance. 2. Cleaning, lubrication, testing, and replacement of consumable items as necessary. 3. Coordination of maintenance visits to minimize disruption to refuge operations. 4. Compliance with all applicable state and local HVAC licensing requirements. 5. Technicians must hold current EPA certification appropriate to their work. 6. Experience with Reliable Controls building automation systems is required. Period of Performance The contract period of performance is from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, with options for four additional years extending through June 30, 2031. Place of Performance The work will be performed at the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge located at 2155 W Forest Street, Brigham City, UT 84302.
