Chavis Wellness Center Park Improvements Project

Background

The Chavis Wellness Center Park Improvements Project is being issued by Williamsburg County Government, which aims to enhance public recreational facilities. The project is located at 2811 S State Highway 41-51, Hemingway, South Carolina 29554. The goal of this contract is to establish a source from a qualified vendor/contractor to furnish all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and services for the completion of the park improvements.

Work Details

The successful contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, permits, inspections, utility coordination, cleanup, restoration, and incidentals necessary to complete the project. Project components generally include: 1. Approximately 1,750 linear feet of commercial-grade six-foot (6') chain-link fencing with associated gates, posts, hardware, fittings, and tie-ins. 2. Electrical improvements associated with the existing shed area including lighting, electrical outlets, wiring and connections. 3. Furnish and install two (2) freestanding outdoor sinks with plumbing connections and concrete pads. 4. Furnish and install two (2) commercial-grade outdoor picnic tables. 5. Furnish and install four (4) commercial-grade permanent-mount charcoal grills. 6. Furnish and install four (4) commercial-grade outdoor trash receptacles with a minimum forty-five (45) gallon capacity.

Period of Performance

The contract work is expected to commence upon issuance of a written Notice to Proceed and must be completed within the timeframe established in that notice.

The work will be performed at Chavis Wellness Center Park located at 2811 S State Highway 41-51, Hemingway, South Carolina 29554.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance showing Williamsburg County as Certificate Holder prior to contract execution. All contractors must comply with applicable local, state, and federal requirements concerning protection of human health and the environment.
