Background

The Lincoln County Board of Supervisors is issuing a solicitation for sealed bids for the renovation of the Lincoln County Courthouse. The goal of this contract is to undertake necessary renovations to improve the courthouse facilities located in Brookhaven, Mississippi.

Work Details

The contract involves renovations as specified in Bid Package 1. Bidders must prepare and submit their bids according to Section 00 21 13 Instructions to Bidders. A Bid Bond Security/Guarantee of 5% of the total bid is required for contracts exceeding $25,000. A 100% Performance and Payment Bond will also be required. Licensing and other certifications as specified in the contract documents must be provided.

Period of Performance

The bids will be received until June 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. CST, with a potential review period not exceeding forty-five (45) days following the bid opening for qualification verification before contract award.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at the Lincoln County Courthouse located at 301 South First St., Brookhaven, MS 39601.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with all applicable sections of the Mississippi Code of 1972, Annotated. Non-resident bidders are required to attach a copy of their resident state's current law regarding non-resident contractor treatment with their bid. Any bid submitted without this documentation will be rejected. Additionally, bidders must provide necessary licensing and certifications as specified in the contract documents.
