Summary (Newest Update)

Background NASA's Stennis Space Center is seeking to procure ASME certified high-pressure storage vessels for the storage of hydrogen, methane, and nitrogen. The goal of this contract is to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards as outlined by the ASME Boiler Pressure Vessel Code. This solicitation is part of a competitive Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Purchase Order process, aimed at small businesses. Work Details The contract requires the delivery of two ASME certified pressure vessels with the following specifications: - Total volume: approximately 625 cubic feet each - Quantity: 2 (totaling roughly 1250 cubic feet) - Material: SA372 Grade J or equivalent - Design pressure: 15,000 PSIG - Vessels must comply with ASME Boiler Pressure Vessel Code Section VIII, Division 1, 2 or 3. Additionally, vendors may provide pricing and specifications for a single vessel option with a connection of 6-inch R-Con. Period of Performance The geographic location(s) the product will be delivered to or performed at Place of Performance NASA John C. Stennis Space Center Bidder Requirements This solicitation is set aside for small businesses. Bidders must provide ASME certification for the pressure vessels and ensure compliance with all specified technical requirements. Incumbent Analysis (see Incumbents section for more detail) The prior award 80NSSC25PB545 was awarded to Adam N Eve Safety for a “PRESSURE VESSEL” effort valued at $28,480 (07/25/25–11/14/25), which appears closely related to the current requirement for ASME certified high-pressure storage vessels. The earlier work likely involved fabrication and delivery of pressure vessel(s) under ASME code requirements, and the current solicitation’s focus on similar ASME-certified pressure vessel procurement for NASA Stennis suggests this effort may be a continuation or follow-on purchase of comparable equipment.
