Background

The City of Salem, Oregon, through its Contracts & Procurement Division for the Department of Public Works Operations, is issuing a solicitation for lab consumables. This is a rebid under Bid No. 267056, aimed at fulfilling the city's operational needs for laboratory supplies. The goal is to procure various lab consumables that meet specific quality and performance standards to support public works operations.

Work Details

The contract involves the supply of various lab consumables including but not limited to: - pH Buffers (20 liters each) in different pH values (4, 7, 10) - Quantity: 4 each - pH electrode filling solution (3M KCl) - Quantity: 2 packs of 5x2 oz. - Fluoride Standards at multiple concentrations (0.5 ppm, 1 ppm, and 5 ppm) - Quantity: 2 bottles of 500 mL each - TISAB 2 solution - Quantity: 2 gallons - Sodium Thiosulfate (0.1N) - Quantity: 4 liters - Sulfuric acid solution (0.02N) - Quantity: 4 liters - Various electrodes and electronic supplies including pH meters and solid-state electrodes - Quantity varies - Labware such as graduated cylinders, beakers, volumetric flasks, and pipet tips - Quantity varies - Miscellaneous supplies including Kimwipes and standard glass microfiber filters - Quantity varies.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence on July 1, 2026, and continue until June 30, 2027. It may be renewed for up to four additional one-year periods based on satisfactory performance and budget approval.

Place of Performance

Delivery will be made to the Public Works Operations at Geren Island, located at 1457 23rd St. SE, Salem, Oregon.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws including tax laws of Oregon. Bidders are encouraged to submit answers to five Contractor Disclosure Requirement questions with their bid. Additionally, bidders must provide documentation regarding product specifications if bidding items other than those specified.
