CVM Scrubs and Mat Rental Services

Background

Clemson University College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a qualified supplier to provide medical grade rental and laundering services for healthcare textile products. The goal of this contract is to ensure the availability of clean, sanitized, and usable healthcare textiles, which includes scrubs, floor mats, coveralls, and towels. This will be a one-year contract with the option to renew for an additional four years.

Work Details

The contractor will provide medical grade rental and laundering services that include: 1. Furnishing, pickup, delivery, laundering, maintenance, repair, replacement, and inventory management of healthcare textile products. 2. Lot 1 - Medical Grade Scrubs: Rental and laundering of scrub tops, scrub pants, specialty scrub garments in assorted sizes and colors. 3. Lot 2 - Rugs and Floor Mats: Rental and cleaning of entry mats, anti-fatigue mats, safety rugs, and specialty floor coverings. 4. Lot 3 - Coveralls and Protective Garments: Rental and laundering of medical or industrial coveralls and protective outerwear. 5. Lot 4 - Huck Towels and Reusable Toweling Products: Rental and laundering of huck towels, cleaning towels, and reusable wiping cloths. The contractor must comply with all applicable healthcare standards and regulations.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed over a one-year period with the option to renew for up to four additional years.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at Clemson University College of Veterinary Medicine.

Bidder Requirements

The successful offeror must provide satisfactory evidence of all required insurance coverage and licenses prior to performance. They must also demonstrate experience in providing healthcare-grade laundering services while maintaining compliance with OSHA, CDC, state, and local regulations applicable to healthcare textile processing.
