Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for the complete replacement of the water service from the main supply to the meter inside the home. The existing galvanized service line is leaking, likely due to a lead line in the easement. The scope includes: - Removing part of the street to access the main connection - Cutting off the lead line within 2 feet of the main - Soldering connections - Replacing old lead lines with new properly sized copper lines - Installing a new curb box shut-off valve - Ensuring protective casing is brought to finish grade - Installing a protective cap.
