Background

The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) is issuing this Request for Competitive Quotes (RFCQ) to establish a contract for pavement repair on NE Portland Highway in Multnomah County. The goal of this contract is to enhance roadway safety and functionality through necessary repairs and maintenance, adhering to the 2024 Oregon Standard Specifications for Construction.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Furnish, place, and compact Level 3, ½” Dense Asphalt Concrete Pavement (ACP) Mixture. 2. Perform cold plane pavement removal at a depth of 2 inches. 3. Provide and apply tack coat as required. 4. Furnish and install temporary pavement markings during construction activities. 5. Furnish and install permanent striping upon project completion. 6. Implement traffic control measures throughout the project duration to ensure safety for both workers and the public.

Period of Performance

The contract work must be substantially completed by September 30, 2026, with final completion required by October 15, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will take place on NE Portland Highway (123), specifically in Multnomah County, Oregon.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be licensed with the State Construction Contractors Board (CCB) prior to submitting quotes for Public Improvement Contracts. Additionally, all contractors and subcontractors must have a Public Works bond filed with the CCB before commencing work on the project.
