Bus Garage Weekly Propane Delivery & On-Site Tank Services

Background

The Alpine School District is seeking to establish a contract with a qualified vendor to supply, install, and maintain a 1,000-gallon propane tank and related equipment for fueling school buses. The district aims to ensure a reliable propane supply without owning the tank or equipment. This initiative supports the district's transportation needs as it prepares for reconfiguration into three new districts in July 2027.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for: - Providing, installing, and maintaining a 1,000-gallon propane tank at the ASD Bus Garage. - Supplying and maintaining associated equipment necessary for filling buses with propane. - Delivering propane weekly to maintain a constant supply, with an annual usage of approximately 21,000 gallons. - Providing protective barriers and safety training for ASD staff on the proper use of equipment. - Meeting all requirements set forth by the State Fire Marshall.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence on July 1, 2026, for an initial term of one year, with options to renew for up to four additional years.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at the ASD Bus Garage located within the boundaries of the Aspen Peaks District in American Fork, Utah.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must provide proof of liability insurance and meet all mandatory minimums outlined in the RFP. Proposals must include completed forms: Schedule A (Certification of Proposal), Schedule B (Detailed Response), and Schedule C (Cost Proposal). Vendors must guarantee pricing for one year and justify any price increases thereafter.
