Background

The North Gateway Visitor Center project is initiated by the agency responsible for managing Silver Falls State Park. Work Details

The contractor is required to provide various masonry services, including: 1. **Architectural Precast Concrete**: Supply smooth-faced precast concrete units for copings and sills, adhering to specifications outlined in Section 03450. This includes submitting a complete product list within 30 days of contract award, providing concrete samples, and ensuring quality assurance through proper mix designs. 2. **Stonework**: Provide cut stonework for exterior applications, including fireplace hearths and natural thin veneer stone for both exterior and interior surfaces as specified in Section 04850. This involves submitting product data, shop drawings, and verification samples for approval. 3. **Rough Carpentry**: Complete wood framing to support structural requirements as detailed in Section 06100, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and moisture content regulations. 4. **Air and Weather Barriers**: Install air barriers and drainage planes on the building's exterior as per Section 07270, utilizing self-adhered membranes and commercial wraps to ensure weatherproofing. 5. **Flashing and Sheet Metal**: Provide flashing components as specified in Section 07600, including shop drawings for approval prior to installation. 6. **Joint Sealants**: Implement caulking systems for joints as described in Section 07920, using specified sealants that match adjacent surfaces.
