Background

The Kearsley Community Schools Board of Education is seeking sealed proposals for the provision of concrete work at the Kearsley High School Auditorium Entrance. This initiative aligns with the district's mission to maintain and enhance its facilities for educational purposes.

Work Details

The scope of work includes: 1) Tearing out approximately 7400 square feet of existing concrete, removing and hauling it off-site. 2) Adding stone base where needed. 3) Pouring back approximately 5200 square feet of new sidewalk with a strength of 4000psi, reinforced with mesh. The new base fill will consist of up to 4 inches of 21aa limestone mixed with a midrange water reducer. The slab will be finished with a broom finish. 4) Sealing the slab for improved strength using a 30% cure. 5) Removing island landscaping and a tree. 6) Providing topsoil, seeding, and straw as needed. All work must be completed by Friday, August 7th.
