Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for the complete demolition and removal of all buildings and structures on the site, including accessory buildings, trash, and debris. Specific tasks include: - Disconnecting utilities (electric and water) in accordance with city requirements before demolition begins. - Sealing all sewers and downspout laterals at the property line with concrete. - Conducting demolition work only between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., excluding legal holidays, Sundays, and inclement weather. - Completing the work within ten (10) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed date. - Obtaining all necessary permits for demolition. - Ensuring safety precautions are in place to protect persons and property during demolition operations. - Prohibiting the use of explosives or weighted balls for demolition. - Backfilling excavated areas with suitable material to ensure proper drainage. - Removing trees, trash, and debris while retaining healthy trees with a trunk diameter of six inches or larger.

The contract work is expected to be completed within ten (10) calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
