Summary: Background The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) is seeking a contractor to perform critical repairs on detention door locks at the Davenport US District Courthouse in Iowa. The mission of this contract is to ensure compliance with Executive Order 14222 and the USMS CFO’s Mission-Critical Justification Memorandum, which emphasizes the importance of maintaining secure environments for personnel and the public within federal facilities. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on 36 detention door locks, specifically addressing issues with door #6 which has been malfunctioning and requires specialized troubleshooting and repair. The tasks include: 1. Conducting troubleshooting and repair of door #6 to restore its functionality with the Electronic Security System (ESS). 2. Performing preventive maintenance on all other detention doors within the courthouse. 3. Providing a Project Manager for coordination with USMS personnel. 4. Ensuring that all work complies with security protocols, including passing background checks for onsite personnel. Period of Performance The contract will be performed from June 15, 2026, to June 14, 2027, with an option for an additional year.
