Summary: Background The 6th Security Forces Squadron (6 SFS) at MacDill Air Force Base requires the procurement and installation of a dedicated power source for the 'Brass Crusher' equipment located in building 1880 parking lot. This project aims to ensure a stable and sufficient power supply for the proper operation of the equipment, which is critical for the Combat Arms Training Facility's mission. Work Details The contractor shall provide all materials, tools, and labor necessary to assess and install a dedicated electrical infrastructure for the Brass Crusher. Key tasks include: - Assessing the specific power requirements (voltage, amperage, circuit type) of the Brass Crusher. - Installing one (1) 45 KVA 208/480V 3 phase dry type transformer, raceways, associated wiring, grounding, and terminations. - Furnishing and installing overcurrent protection on primary and secondary transformers. - Installing a 90A circuit breaker in a 400A Square D type HCM panelboard for primary use. - Installing a 60A fused disconnect on the secondary side. - Providing underground raceway from the secondary fused disconnect to Connex location equipment. - Installing an underground hand hole box adjacent to equipment location. - Installing flexible connections to equipment disconnects and mounting disconnecting means outside of Connex. - Conducting testing, commissioning, labeling, troubleshooting, and handing off to end user as required.
