Background The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), specifically the Aircraft Certification Service (AIR-900) and Flight Standards Service (AFB-500), is conducting a Market Survey / Request for Information (RFI) to identify vendors capable of providing a comprehensive, outcome-based, and ethical investigative interviewing course. The training will include approximately 40 hours of instruction per class, with an estimated four classes held annually and a maximum class size of 20 students. The curriculum will cover various critical topics including: - Theory of Investigative Interviewing - Planning and Preparation - Engage and Explain - Account – Clarification and Challenge - Closure - Evaluation. Additionally, the contractor must ensure that all training meets the requirements set forth by the Current Consolidated Appropriations Act and provide necessary tools for conducting ethical interviews. Instructors must have significant experience in investigative interviewing and teaching.
