Background The Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Indian Education (BIE), Division of Acquisitions is issuing this solicitation for Speech and Language Pathologist Services to support the educational needs of students at the San Ildefonso Day School. The goal is to provide professional speech and language therapy services to enhance communication skills among students, particularly those with speech or language impairments. This contract is set aside for Indian Economic Enterprises (IEE) that are also small business concerns under the Buy Indian Act. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing Speech and Language Therapy Services, which include: - Assessing students' speech and language abilities. - Developing individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs. - Implementing therapy sessions in accordance with established plans. - Collaborating with teachers and parents to monitor progress and adjust therapy as necessary. - Maintaining accurate records of student progress and therapy outcomes. - Providing training and resources to staff on supporting students with speech and language challenges. Period of Performance The contract will have a base year from August 1, 2026, through July 31, 2027, with options for four additional years extending through July 31, 2031. Place of Performance Services will be performed at the BIE – San Ildefonso Day School located at 36 Tunyo Po, Santa Fe, NM 87506.
