Summary: Background The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is issuing this solicitation for the purpose of roof repair and replacement at the Woods Hole facility. The goal of this contract is to ensure the integrity and safety of the roofing systems, which includes addressing any asbestos-containing materials identified in the survey. This solicitation is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Removal and proper disposal of existing roofing materials, specifically EPDM roofing. 2. Conducting targeted asbestos abatement where penetrations are made in the roofing system. 3. Installation of new roofing systems as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW). 4.
