Food Services: Groceries/Restaurants and Other Related Goods & Services

Coppell Independent School District (CISD) is seeking qualified vendors to provide a range of food supplies and food service products. The work required under this contract includes, but is not limited to: Supplying prepared foods for catering, pickup, and delivery, ensuring all items comply with health and safety standards. Providing retail food offerings that may be available at district locations or through wholesale suppliers. Delivering food products in strict accordance with USDA, TDA, and Texas Department of Agriculture guidelines, specifically Sections 17 and subsequent sections related to food procurement and safety. Ensuring all products meet federal, state, and district health, safety, and nutrition standards, including compliance with USDA and TDA regulations. This solicitation is issued by Coppell Independent School District (CISD). The purpose of this informal Request for Proposal (RFP) is to expand CISD's pool of vendors to guarantee access to compliant, high-quality food products for district operations, including meal programs and catering services. The RFP is conducted in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws, including Texas Government Code 44.031, TEA FASRAG purchasing guidelines, and federal regulations such as EDGAR, USDA, and TDA policies. Contract requirements specify that all products and services provided must adhere to the relevant federal, state, and district health, safety, and nutrition standards, as well as procurement guidelines outlined by USDA and TDA. This solicitation may be issued annually to allow new vendors to participate. Vendors awarded through this process do not need to resubmit until the next formal solicitation in 2028. Vendors who submitted a response last year are not required to reapply unless they wish to update their offerings. Please ensure all submissions comply with the stated requirements and guidelines.
