Work Details The Contractor shall perform the following tasks: - Maintain all designated lawn areas within the Deer River Ranger District office compound located at approximately 1235 Division Street, Deer River, MN. - Services include routine mowing, trimming, edging (as needed), and seasonal clean-ups. - Routine Mowing and Trimming Requirements: - Maintain grass height not exceeding 4 inches; after mowing, grass should be cut to a uniform height of approximately 1.5–2 inches. - Perform mowing and trimming as frequently as necessary, typically weekly during peak growing season (May–September) and reduced during dry or dormant periods. - Inspect the site weekly to assess needs and prevent overgrowth or unkempt appearance. - Direct clippings away from structures to avoid damage or debris accumulation. - Remove clippings from sidewalks and hard surfaces immediately after mowing. - Trim around obstacles to maintain clean edges. - Seasonal Clean-Up Services: - Conduct two seasonal clean-ups per year: one in spring (after snowmelt) and one in fall (at the end of the growing season). Each clean-up consists of up to one full workday (8 hours) of labor and equipment as needed. - Scope includes removal of leaves, branches, litter, winter debris from lawn areas and hard surfaces; raking or blowing debris; edging along sidewalks; removal of early-season weeds in spring or final-season debris in fall; general site preparation in spring or winterization in fall.
