Summary: Background The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking an APC-certified service provider to perform preventative maintenance and emergency repair services for Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and cooling units at their Boise Regional Office. The goal of this contract is to ensure the operational reliability of these critical systems, which support IT infrastructure. Work Details The contractor will provide on-site repairs, semi-annual maintenance, and 24x7 emergency support for the APC UPS and InRow cooling units. Services include inspections, certifications, and repairs per manufacturer specifications and industry standards. Specific tasks include: 1. **Preventative Maintenance**: Comprehensive inspections of UPS systems and cooling units, including environmental inspections, maintenance tasks such as verifying voltages, checking refrigerant levels, replacing filters, and cleaning components. 2. **Emergency Services**: Responding to unscheduled maintenance requests within 24 hours and providing detailed reports post-service. 3. **Documentation**: Providing service reports after each maintenance visit detailing findings, discrepancies, recommendations for future actions, and necessary upgrades. 4. **Battery Lifecycle Plan**: Including age assessments and expected replacement timelines for batteries in compliance with OEM standards. 5. **Compliance with Standards**: Ensuring all work adheres to relevant safety regulations including OSHA standards.
