Temperance River State Park Vault Toilet Pumping 2YR

Background

The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) of the State of Minnesota is seeking bids for the seasonal pumping service of vault toilets located in various state parks and wayside rest areas. The goal of this contract is to ensure proper sanitation and maintenance of these facilities, which are essential for public use and enjoyment in natural areas.

Work Details

The contractor will provide labor, equipment, materials, tools, licensing, transportation, disposal fees, taxes, and incidentals necessary for the seasonal pumping service of seventeen (17) vault toilets. Specifically, the locations include: - 15 vault toilets in Temperance River State Park - 1 vault toilet at Caribou Falls Wayside Rest Area - 1 double vault toilet at Ray Berglund Wayside Rest Area. Each vault toilet must be pumped at least once per season, with additional pumping on an 'as needed' basis throughout the contract period.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2028.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at Temperance River State Park, Caribou Falls Wayside Rest Area, and Ray Berglund Wayside Rest Area in Cook & Lake Counties, Minnesota.
