Background
Jackson County, Missouri is seeking a Twenty-four (24) Month Term and Supply Contract with One (1) Twelve Month Option to Extend for the furnishing of HVAC Services for use by various County Departments. The County estimates it will spend approximately $210,000 annually on these services.
Work Details
The Successful Contractor must service, maintain, repair, replace, and inspect components and systems in accordance with manufacturer's instructions for the following: - HVAC Components, Systems and Equipment - Freezers/Refrigerators
Chilled Water-Cooling Systems
- Sanitary Water Systems. The Contractor shall recommend replacement equipment and provide installation services of new equipment upon request. Repair and Replacement estimates shall be included in this Contract at no additional charge. All work must comply with City and/or County regulations and the most current Uniform Building Code. The Contractor must also provide a Standard Warranty for their work.
Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of twenty-four (24) months with an option to extend for one (1) additional twelve-month period.
Place of Performance
All work performed under this contract shall be conducted in the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan Area, which includes Cass County, Clay County, Jackson County, Lafayette County, Platte County, Ray County in Missouri, and Johnson County and Wyandotte County in Kansas.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with Chapter 6 of the Jackson County Code for Minority, Women and Veteran Business Utilization. A MBE/WBE/VBE Participation Affidavit must be submitted with the bid response. Bidders are required to have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in providing similar services and must submit references showing contracts held by their company providing similar services to other municipalities. Additionally, bidders must provide a Certificate of Compliance from the Jackson County Compliance Review Office prior to bid submission.
