Background The Government requires approximately thirty (30) rental vehicles to support mission requirements. The agency is focused on ensuring that the fleet consists of a mix of Sedans, Passenger Vans, and Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs) that meet specific safety and operational standards. This contract aims to provide reliable transportation options for government personnel in Alaska. Work Details The contractor shall provide a fleet of approximately thirty (30) rental vehicles, including Sedans, Passenger Vans, and SUVs, all with unlimited mileage. Vehicles must be 2019 models or newer and in good operating condition, free from excessive soil, rust, and damage. They must meet national and state safety requirements with features such as seat belts, rear-view mirrors, windshield wipers, parking brakes, horns, and emergency repair kits. Delivery will occur at the parking lot north of the Eielson Air Force Base Visitor Center in Alaska. Vehicles must have current registration for operation in Alaska. The contractor is responsible for full coverage insurance and roadside assistance at no additional cost. Vehicles will be jointly inspected upon delivery and return by both the contractor and a designated Government official to assess any damages. Period of Performance The geographic location(s) the contract will be performed (if provided). Place of Performance Eielson Air Force Base Visitor Center (1199 Old Richardson Highway, Eielson AFB, AK 99702). Bidder Requirements This opportunity is set aside for Small Business Set Aside - Total (SBA). Bidders must ensure that all drivers possess valid Driver’s Licenses and comply with U.S., Alaska, and Eielson AFB driving laws. Contractors must carry insurance that meets U.S. and Alaska state requirements to cover costs related to vehicle loss or damage.
