Fermilab-ICB-A Angstrom E-Beam ECR Vacuum Electrical Feed-DG

Summary: Background The Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab) is issuing this solicitation for the construction of the ICB-A Angstrom E-Beam ECR Vacuum project. The goal of this contract is to engage a subcontractor to perform all work as described in the Statement of Work (SOW) and associated drawings, ensuring compliance with safety, quality control, and oversight requirements. Work Details The subcontractor shall perform all work as described in the Statement of Work for the ICB-A Angstrom E-Beam ECR Vacuum included as Exhibit A and drawing included as Exhibit B. All work shall include transportation, overhead, bonding costs, insurance, safety oversight, quality control oversight, and supervision as required to construct the project. Key milestones include: - Milestone 0 – 0 Calendar Days: Notice to Proceed (NTP), marking the start of construction work; - Milestone 1 – 21 Calendar Days: Submission of all material submittals; - Milestone 2 – 21 Calendar Days: Completion with punch-list items remaining, cooling water piping installed and tested; - Milestone 3 – 7 Calendar Days: Project completion. Period of Performance The contract period includes specific milestones with completion expected by May 2026. Place of Performance The work will be performed at Fermilab located in Batavia, Illinois.
