USFWS NATIONAL CONSERVATION TRAINING CENTER - BRAND SPECIFIC BIOONE SCIENTIFIC JOURNAL SUBSCRIPTION

Summary (Newest Update)

Background The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) is issuing this Request for Quotation (RFQ) for a subscription to the BioOne Scientific Journal. The mission of the USFWS is to conserve, protect, and enhance fish, wildlife, and plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people. This contract aims to provide access to scientific literature that supports the agency's conservation efforts. Work Details The contract includes the following services: 1. Base Year - BioOne Scientific Journal Subscription from July 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026. 2. Option Year 1 - BioOne Scientific Journal Subscription from January 1, 2027, to December 31, 2027. 3. Option Year 2 - BioOne Scientific Journal Subscription from January 1, 2028, to December 31, 2028. 4. Option Year 3 - BioOne Scientific Journal Subscription from January 1, 2029, to December 31, 2029. 5. Option Year 4 - BioOne Scientific Journal Subscription from January 1, 2030, to December 31, 2030. Period of Performance The period of performance for the Base Year is from July 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026. Subsequent option years extend through December 31 of each respective year up to December 31, 2030. Place of Performance The services will be performed at the FWS National Conservation Training Center located at 698 Conservation Way, Shepherdstown, WV. Bidder Requirements Bidders must provide a quotation that includes all applicable Federal, State and local taxes. There are no specific set-aside requirements mentioned for this RFQ. Incumbent Analysis (see Incumbents section for more detail) This opportunity appears to have a confirmed incumbent based on prior award 140F0921P0059, awarded to Bioone for an “FWS NCTC - BIOONE SUBSCRIPTION” valued at $148,435 (09/01/21–12/31/25). The current RFQ similarly seeks a brand-specific BioOne Scientific Journal subscription for the FWS National Conservation Training Center, with coverage continuing through successive base and option years.
