Background

The State of Alabama is seeking proposals for chaplain services as part of its professional services offerings. Work Details

The contractor will provide chaplain services which may include conducting religious services, providing counseling and support to individuals in need, and offering spiritual guidance in state facilities. Specific tasks may involve: 1) Conducting regular worship services; 2) Providing individual counseling sessions; 3) Offering crisis intervention and support; 4) Collaborating with facility staff to address the spiritual needs of individuals; 5) Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon award and will continue for a period specified in the final agreement, typically spanning multiple months or years as determined by the State.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at designated state facilities across Alabama, with specific locations to be determined based on the needs outlined in the final contract.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including registration with the Alabama Secretary of State if they are a foreign entity. Additionally, bidders must certify compliance with E-Verify enrollment requirements as mandated by Alabama law. Proposals must include a Disclosure Statement as required by Code Section 41-16-82, et seq., of the Code of Alabama 1975.
