Stennis International Airport Project

Background

The Hancock County Port & Harbor Commission is issuing a solicitation for the construction of interior office renovations at the Stennis Technology Building. The project aims to create additional tenant space within the existing structure, supporting the agency's mission to enhance economic development and infrastructure in the region.

Work Details

The scope of work includes renovations of approximately 9,087 square feet of the existing Stennis Technology Building. This renovation will involve creating an additional tenant space. Project documents can be examined at the Hancock County Port & Harbor Commission or at the office of the Design Architect, RCL Architecture, PLLC. Bid documents must be purchased online, and all plan holders are required to have a valid email address for registration.

Period of Performance

The contract work is expected to commence after bids are opened on June 18, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at Stennis Technology Building located at 7250 Stennis Airport Rd, Kiln, MS 39556.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders are encouraged to include minority and women-owned business enterprises as prime contractors. They must also make positive efforts to utilize small and minority-owned businesses. All bidders must submit sealed paper bids or electronic bids through specified channels.
